interactive installation (2005 and 2006)

Serious Culture is a tri-panned projection that forms an enclosed space where the participants are invited to collaboratively draw on sheets of paper placed on the projection screens. It is within this space that they can control the images being projected using gesture while at the same time affecting reverb acoustic sound produced by contact micro phones that mimic their drawing motions.

Serious Culture I was the final project for my graduate studies at Concordia University in the program Design, Art and Technology.

Curious Culture II was created with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
